Because of widespread support for unionization among UA Staff, the state labor board has scheduled a union election for March 18-31. Without a union, UA unilaterally determines our working conditions and can change them at any time without our consent. But if a strong majority votes to form CAUSE-UAW, we can collectively bargain to advance our careers and build a stronger university system alongisde our already-unionized faculty, crafts and trades, and grad worker colleagues.
To ensure that we win our union with the broad support needed to win a strong contract, UA Staff are filling out this form to commit to vote pro-union in the election.
