We have been negotiating with WCM's administration for almost a year and a half, and while we successfully got WCM to withdraw Force Majeure, WCM has failed to reach a timely agreement on basic protections from layoffs and important economic issues like housing and backpay. WCM has said that they will reintroduce Force Majeure if we do not reach an agreement by the end of October.
It is clear that we need to increase the pressure on the WCM administration if we want to avoid further delays to reaching a contract that ensures a more just and equitable working environment for postdocs.
Join fellow postdocs for a mass meeting on Thursday 10/16 to discuss how we can reach a fair contract as quickly as possible, including by setting a strike deadline, if necessary.
